Julie has been quilting for 20 years and sharing her love of hand quilting and needle turn appliqué by teaching for 10 years. Whilst her techniques are quite traditional, many of her quilts are contemporary in style. Julie has been exhibiting with both Victorian Quilters and the Quilters Guild of South Australia since 2006 and her awards include a Best of Show, two Runner Up Best of Shows and 12 Excellence in Hand Quilting awards during that time. In April 2015 Julie became an Accredited Teacher of Specialist Techniques with Victorian Quilters.

1pm followed by Devonshire Tea at Monty's Tea Rooms at 2:30pm.
Bring your machine, sewing kit, fabric scraps and loads of enthusiasm.
The quilts are made, both by us from donated fabric and by offsite stitchers who gift us their quilts.
We have two basic quilt sizes: Single (55 inches by 75 inches) and Cot (35 inches by 45 inches).
You can convert everything you see to a format you find convenient. Give it a try!
